This course is directed towards fashion designers who want to learn more about patternmaking and those already in the patternmaking field who are looking to advance their skills and to have the tools and skills to produce any idea.
Course Content
• Advanced hands-on exercises
• Sleeve variations: raglan and two-piece sleeves
• Blouse styles: shirt with yoke and cowl blouse
• Jumpsuit pattern creation
• Jacket designs: single-breasted and shawl collar
• Evening dress construction, including mermaid skirts
• Corset design and construction
• Final Projects: Designing advanced garments incorporating creative ideas and techniques for casual, classic, and evening wear.
